Why right libertarianism is not anarchism

Anarchism is personal liberation through collective action.

Personal liberation includes not needlessly dying from cancer because you can’t afford healthcare; it includes obtaining the highest education that you pursue without worrying about the cost; it includes unconditionally having a place to call home; it is not only freedom from but freedom to. Freedom to live. Freedom to thrive.

  1. ^ Some would call this idealistic; that if we can’t realise a society that reflects our ideals in the most complete sense then it is somehow not anarchist. But anarchism is a process, a milieu, not an end goal; as anarchists we fight for our aims every day. As Errico Malatesta put it: “[...] the subject is not whether we accomplish anarchism today, tomorrow, or within ten centuries, but that we walk towards anarchism today, tomorrow, and always”.
